The Englishman is said to be on the verge of a 'sensational return' to the Red Devils' main squad after an absence of over a year and a half.
Greenwood has not played for Man United since January 2022, when he was suspended after his arrest over a number of charges, including assault.
However, the youngster got a reprieve in February this year, per talkSPORT, after the charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service, citing the withdrawal of key witnesses.

This is after the striker was included in United's squad for the new season, per their official website.
However, the decision has seemingly not gone down well with a section of fans, who staged a protest ahead of United's Premier League opener against Wolves on Monday night.
The Sun reports that protestors were clear about their fury at Greenwood's potential return before the encounter, with one female fan holding an expletive-laden poster calling out the club for its apparent spineless attitude.
